Being part of this foundation has been a very enabling and exciting experience. It has allowed me to mingle and interact with students of great vision and aspirations. This has helped me to gain add more knowledge and understanding. This has also opened the opportunity for me to attend the summer school which is a transforming experience. I appreciate a lot for the foundation and hope it may continue transforming lives of young intellectuals.

I am very grateful to Bildung fördert Entwicklung for generously making a step to help sponsor my Masters Study at Kenyatta University. From the little known Village of Kanyango, Kanyada, I will perhaps be the first one to do Masters. It is encouraging and greatly motivating. I greatly thank the Initiative for considering the young people in Kenya to pursue their Education.

I am a second year student at Egerton University main campus, Njoro. Taking Bachelor of Arts (Gender, Poverty and Development). My achievement so far has been made possible by the help I receive from the organisation “Bildung fördert Entwicklung e.V.”. This society has contributed so much by helping me pay my school fees in the University. Helping me financially was not the only thing I have received from him, he is also a father figure to me and taught me to have a heart to serve others.

I am very grateful for the support this far. Your support has transformed my life in tremendous ways, three years ago today I was just a village girl with no hopes of pursuing my dreams. Having pursued and attained a diploma in film production and comparing it with the current job market, it has come to my attention that a diploma certificate will not suffice. Therefore, I have taken the initiative to source for a reputable university that will deliver quality education. That will be the Kenyatta University.

I am a student at Kenyatta University in my final year. I will be finishing my studies in April this year. The “Bildung fördert Entwicklung e.V.” has been of great help to me and my studies this far. In June this year, I will start my internship at the Trier City Hall. I acknowledge that the society will facilitate my flight and also help with my up keep in Germany. I am very grateful for this chance. I appreciate the good work being done by the society to help secure the internship and to pay my flight. Thank you so much for everything. With this help, I will be able to undertake this internship and build my career.

Getting support from the Bildung fördert Entwicklung e.V. to be able to study the German language has brought a great impact in my life especially on how I perceive things now. Getting the chance to also visit Germany changed my views on leadership, development, the strength and power of the citizens in a country, unity and many more. Seeing Germany and all the systems in place has pushed me to really want to make a change in my country not like before when I just wanted to help people now I want to empower everyone to stir a change in all of us to take part in our own development.

They say in Chinese that no appreciation is enough for great kindness. I want to thank you all for your continued support in funding my education. I am taking a diploma in Computer Science at Presbyterian University of East Africa. So far I have taught myself through the knowledgeI have gained to develop websites. I am planning to register an IT company before end of year. I have a lot of dreams. I am planning to have my own job and a stable income. School is really good and I am preparing to face life. I am hopeful to achieve my goals.

I must admit that the Germany experience was more than an eye opener. Just like the name of the foundation “Bildung fördert Entwicklung”, the learning experience that I went through throughout the 6 weeks in 2015 propagated personal development. The Summer School at Trier University for example enabled me interact with people from quite a number of countries, some countries that I had not even known existed. The interactions opened me up to new cultures and ways of life. The entire experience imparted a new drive to make a difference.

I take this special opportunity to express my strongest motivation for taking Bachelor of Arts, from time to time I have reviewed my career interest and I have considered several strong points which at the end have made draw this important life conclusion. It is my wish to extend my talents and ability in life. I would like to study population geography, economics and climatology at Kenyatta University.

I choose to pursue International Business Administration as I would like to have a better and in-depth perspective on ways in which daily businesses are conducted as I find trade an essential human activity which without, we would not prosper. Business in Kenya is grossly male dominated and I would like to be a mentor to young girls in this country to prove to them that gender does not matter. I take this opportunity to thank “Bildung fördert Entwicklung e.V.” for enabling me to pursue my current year of university studies which I would have otherwise not pursued due to the inability of my family to pay the tuition fees.
